Photo Caption Contest

Greetings from safe harbor, deep in the woods of Chelsea, where the poison ivy and ticks are flourishing and the dandelions have more or less run amok. As summer approaches, we felt that this vintage advertising image needed a caption.

We are challenging you and the rest of our email subscribers to submit a caption for this photo. It can be a headline, a description, or perhaps a dialogue between the subjects… you choose. The most appropriate, and probably the most humorous entry will receive a VOTE variety pack (see below) featuring a notecard and coasters that were letterpress printed here at 12AS, as well as stickers and a campaign style button.

Captions involving poor taste, nonsense and/or scatological humor are allowed… and encouraged.

That’s it for the rules.

Our esteemed panel of judges will spend the weekend sequestered with the entrants and the winner will be announced in the COMMENT section Monday, May 25 at 12:00 noon. The winner will be contacted via email and we’ll arrange a parcel to be sent via USPS with your winnings.
